Yoga Home is a concept for an extension to an existing yoga retreat in Portugal. The proposal attaches to the mountains with the least possible impact on the land, lifting above the ground to capture the view.
The clay envelope of the stair block uses ducts to draw air through the ground and naturally cool it for the room above.
No trees were harmed during the design of this project, with the maritime pines so characteristic of the region allowed to continue through the structure.
