Since 2020 the renovation work on this farm house and adjoining barn have been exploring a sustainable architectural process that involves the inhabitants from design through to construction.
Local trades are engaged, with carpenters and stone masons providing the expertise to build with a strong understanding of the existing structures.
Two generations of timber growth in the land surrounding the property will provide enough material to build a project deeply connected to the land and to the family's history.
